The Extension program is an opportunity for MWU Global Communication students to choose to return to MUSC in the spring after having spent the fall semester in Spokane. Students extend their English language learning and global communication opportunities while further exploring language skills, American culture, and opportunities to visit another region of the United States.
Global Communication Extension program students research, create, and share a semester long project covering topics related to global communication and English learning. This project helps develop confidence, fluency, public speaking, and audio/video editing skills. They choose between creating a TED-style talk or a podcast. Working on this project gives students chance to inspire others and practice real-world communication skills.
